Beginning March 1, 2014, the Ministry of Manpower has consolidated the several tiers of Employment Passes (P1, P2, and Q1) and now refers to these tiers solely as “Employment Passes” in all correspondences. However, this is only an administrative change, so the application/renewal process, qualifying criteria, and privileges have not changed.
