The 2016 minimum salary requirements for highly skilled immigrants in the Netherlands will increase by 1.6% over this year’s thresholds. As of January 1, 2016, work permit applications for highly skilled migrants, EU Blue Card holders and foreign students graduating in the Netherlands will be subject to the following monthly salary requirements:
- 4,257 EUR for highly skilled migrants ages 30 and over;
- 3,121 EUR for highly skilled migrants under age 30;
- 4,987 EUR for EU Blue Card holders; and
- 2,237 EUR for students graduating from universities in the Netherlands.
