A new change in law has extended the processing times of in country applications and long term family reunification visa application filed separately from the principal applicant’s visa application. After July 8, 2016, the processing time will extend by three months, from the present six to nine months. The increase in processing times are due to an increase of family reunification applications being submitted. Dependents of third country nationals will be subject to travel restrictions until the decision of their application.
